Webinars

MOVE & ACT Training programme consists of a series of free webinars developing artistic and digital skills for young people.

The artistic skills will focus on the Visual Arts field and the digital skills will focus on innovative new technologies that can be used in combination with the artistic activity such as 3D design, printing and scanning.

The webinars will be held virtually from February until May 2023. There will be 6 webinars in total.

Webinars will take place on Thursdays from 17:30 to 19:00 CET. All webinars will be held in English.

  • 16th February: ART instead of a pill – a therapeutic aspect of art collage
  • 2nd March: Disability in Art History
  • 16th March: Visual Vernacular
  • 30th March: Text-to-Image AI / AI Art Generator
  • 27th April: 3D Printing basics
  • 11th May: 3D Printing Hardware and Software

Hereby we invite any 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟖 𝐭𝐨 𝟑𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐥𝐝, who is interesting in arts and technology, to participate in a series of online webinars.

The project will give priority to the participation of young people of these groups:

  • Young people NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training)
  • Young people with disabilities
  • Young migrants
  • Young people related with Arts, professionals of amateurs

The ableist considers able bodies as the norm in society, indicating that people who have a disability must struggle to become normal. Disability is therefore defined as a mistake or a fault, rather than a human diversity; disability is seen as a “bad” thing that must be overcome or eradicated.

Visual Vernacular

Visual Vernacular is a form of visual art which combines Sign Language, mime and poetry. Is a visual art technique that belongs to the Deaf community and is a more theatrical way of storytelling.
